Sea effect is further enhanced by boat decks, 150-foot masts and large basin for display of yachts and cruisers. Architects of the building were Ely Jacques Kahn, William Mushenheim and Morrison J. Brounn."

"The Firestone Building is a striking example of modern architecture, with a great rotunda entrance surmounted by a brilliantly lighted  fin, towering 100 feet  in the air. It houses a modern tire factory, producing a finished tire every four minutes. Featuring the exhibit is an extensive farmstead which highlights the many and important uses of rubber on the farm. G. W. McLaughlin is the designer. C. D. Smith and Wilbur Watson and Assoc. are the architects."

"This picture shows Constitution Mall, a 2,000-foot esplanade lined with 250 trees and hundreds of benches arranged alongside five lagoons. The latter form setting for groups of sculptured symbolical figures, the huge portrait statue of George Washington at his inauguration, the largest Sun Dial in the world, and, at top the Perisphere, largest ball ever constructed by mankind, and the Trylon, a 65-story triangular shaft. About 25 of the largest exhibit buildings face upon the tree-lined area."

"The Gas Exhibits Building is based on architectural plans by Skidmore & Owings, John Moss, Associate. The building, 460 feet long, occupies a plot of 87,042 feet in the Community Interests zone. The main entrance, featuring four 90-foot pylons, lead into a wide circular 'Court of Flame'. More than one hundred gas companies participating."
